Guilty if I say you are!

27 Feb

Somewhere in North Carolina, a couple of college students had a shitty relationship that ended badly.  I know, I know.  Shock!  Let’s call them Jennifer and Brad.  Brad has a long history of mental instability, including a suicide attempt and eventually Jennifer got sick of his shit and dumped him.

walking away

Brad didn’t handle that very well.  He decided that Jennifer had, in fact, been abusive, and the abuse had only ever been HER being a total fucking jackass to HIM. Lacking any evidence of any kind, or any support from any of their mutual friends, Brad had no legs to stand on in terms of pressing criminal charges, so he took his complaints about what a bitch Jennifer is to the school Honor Court, which promptly threw Brad and his sorry little ass out, along with his complaints.

falling

Oh gosh, well now Brad is super pissed!  He is not letting this one go.  Nope.  He’s been following Jennifer around campus, interfering with her classes and talking openly about their sexually, emotionally and verbally abusive relationship, which was all Jennifer’s fault.

It’s kind of obvious WHY Jennifer dumped this fucking moron in the first place, isn’t it?  Jennifer had way more tolerance than I ever would, but eventually, she too got sick of this shit and went to the Honor Court.  The Honor Court was not amused by Brad’s antics and is now threatening him with expulsion.

Basically, the Honor Court said “no, Brad, you do not get to follow your former girlfriend around talking about what an abusive psychopath she is without A SHRED OF EVIDENCE FOR THAT.  Did she beat the crap out of you?  Get yourself an assault conviction and then we’ll talk. Until then, shut the fuck up or get the fuck out”.

evidence

Brad is outraged!  He is attempting to raise awareness of domestic violence against men, and this is how the Honor Court reacts?  He is drawing attention to a very real problem and the big mean assholes on the court are telling him he needs EVIDENCE before he can carry out a smear campaign against Jennifer?

Well, clearly, that’s bullshit.  Jennifer is guilty because BRAD SAYS SHE IS.  What other evidence is required?

Oh now wait a second.  Oops.  I got that backwards.

It’s not Brad who is mentally unstable with a diagnosed illness, it’s Jennifer.  And it’s not Brad who has been following his ex-romantic partner around acting like an asshole.  It’s Jennifer.  She has openly been talking about the fact that Brad RAPED HER and she has a criminal conviction to prove that, the support of her friends, the backing of the school’s Honor Court, NO EVIDENCE OF ANY KIND TO PROVE THAT EXCEPT HER OWN OPINION.

jstice

Did Brad rape Jennifer?  Who the fuck knows?  Maybe.  But here’s the thing: justice rests on one assumption and one assumption only:

INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

Jennifer has the support of Jezebel (surprise!), who truly believe that Jennifer absolutely has the right to follow Brad around campus harassing him and accusing him of a crime despite any evidence of any kind other than HOW SHE FEELS.

http://jezebel.com/5986693/college-rape-survivor-faces-potential-expulsion-for-intimidating-her-rapist

I wonder how Jezebel would feel if it were Brad following Jennifer around and informing all her potential new partners that she is, in fact, diagnosably mentally ill, a claim for which he has ACTUAL EVIDENCE?

This little story is exactly why men should have their anonymity preserved when they are charged with rape.  Accusers have long had anonymity, on the assumption that they have a right to privacy and that to be a known victim of sexual assault can have life altering implications.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2281691/Men-SHOULD-afforded-anonymity-rape-trials–human-right-High-Court-judge-Maura-McGowan-correct-says-Peter-Lloyd.html

As if being ACCUSED of sexual assault does not?

The Rape Culture™ crowd likes to claim that false accusations of rape are incredibly rare and therefore it is reasonable to assume that every woman that charges any man with rape is telling the truth.  The opposite of justice:  guilty until proven innocent.

guilty

False rape allegations are rare? Oh really?  Elizabeth Jones, who is only 22 years old, begs to differ.  She finally got jail time after ELEVEN FALSE ACCUSATIONS.

jones

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2284677/Compulsive-liar-Elizabeth-Jones-cried-rape-11-times-jailed.html

There are some lacrosse players at Duke who may have something to say about false allegations, too.

duke

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/crystal-mangum-duke-lacross-rape-accuser-charged-murder-boyfriend-stabbing-death-article-1.110768

That lying little bitch is now up on murder charges, after her boyfriend was mysteriously stabbed.  This is AFTER she set her house on fire with her three young children inside.  Despite the fact that she is a lying bag of crazy, she still gets the assumption of innocence.

Women like Jennifer honestly believe they can drop the rape bomb on any man, anywhere, at any time and get a victim pass.  He will be assumed guilty and the mere threat of having the grenade of accusation go off is enough to keep most men silent in the face of a clear violation of justice.

greanade

I’m proud of the Honor Court at the University of North Carolina.  Let the bitches scream, your honors.  And let justice reign.

It’s really very simple:  if you are going to accuse someone of a crime, ANY CRIME, you’re gonna need some evidence to support that claim.

And no, cupcake, your FEELINGS are not evidence.

For anything other than your total lack of self-reflection or understanding of how justice actually works.  Back your shit up, bitch.

Or get the hell out.

expelled

Lots of love,

JB

I have come to the conclusion that 99% of the problems concerning women & all the problems they cause in society today can all be boiled down to one issue: Mental Illness. I have to deal with far more women everyday than I care to- not IN my company- no, they work for our clients and the second the CFO of one of said clients assigns one of these nightmare women from Hell to deal with us, we pretty much write off the deal- it’s not going to happen. From years of experience I know EXACTLY what is going to happen: She is going to make bizarre demands off of the top of her head, flake off & then redirect the blame for doing so on YOU once she gets in trouble with her boss for fucking it all up. There was one such loon who suddenly decided to get a much needed fax over to us to complete the deal she was supposed send over LAST AUGUST. We’ve been leaving her messages and sending emails all this time- well, after a while we just gave up.

OF COURSE she blames US for not getting in touch with her and actually blames us for not calling her and pretends she knew nothing about the information she was supposed to send 6 months ago. Of course this is all said in an extremely rude and confrontational tone (like all of them do) that drips with raw hate and you just have to sit there and take it, because no one is going to side with you as a male, and your own company will blame YOU for ruining the deal if you tell her to fuck off.

    Welcome to corporate Hell.

What does that have to do with false accusations of rape? Everything. It follows the same anti-social, extreme dysfunction and up is down and wrong is right mental illness that virtually all women suffer from in the 21st century. Mental illness is supposed to be wild and unpredictable- yet the pattern of mental illness that American women demonstrate is very predictable. Zero accountability, redirection of blame, threats, blackmail, threats of getting you in trouble if you hold them accountable and most of all, Fraud. I otherwise enjoy what I do, but if I ever have to finally quit it will be because of women – who make everyday a living Hell on Earth. I couldn’t even IMAGINE what it is like to think like all of these women – and they really ARE all the same. I deal with more people in a week than most deal with in a year. At this stage of my life, I really would be happy if all of them could somehow just disappear.

I think your definition of mental illness is too broad.

You’re just talking about people abusing their privilege and being assholes, basically.

In the antebellum south, one could say that all slave owners were mentally ill because they were able to see other human beings as property. Inanimate objects without feelings. That’s the hallmark of psychopathology.

    But they weren’t all psychopaths.

They were just taking advantage of the institution of slavery.

In today’s climate, women are simply taking advantage of the tools at their disposal.

The solution lies in changing what tools are available.

I read this story yesterday and kept waiting for some kind of evidence to support the woman’s accusations. I wasn’t surprised when there wasn’t any. Nor was I surprised when the women in the comment section were quick to assume he was guilty and should be treated as such.

    What bullshit.

I wonder if a fund could be set up for gentleman’s defense and suit against Jezebel for calling him a “rapist” when he hasn’t been convicted of anything outside of their kangaroo court of opinion?

This is one of the reasons why I want to move to place like singapore or Malaysia or anywhere that is decently developed and offers good opportunities without all the BS, once I graduate from uni. But then things could change and considering that I’m studying engineering where there are very few women and as long as I stay away from forming relationships, I think I’ll be good at least for a few more years.

Society is not going to change until it gets “bitch slapped” with enough irreversible damage from the physco man-bashers. It will also have to happen in a very short time or people will forget.
Look what happened at Duke. Did any one apologize? No, why would they. The only thing they were sorry about was that the lies did not work, and that was not their fault.

    This was my favourite comment:

Look, if a woman says she’s raped and there’s no reason to believe otherwise, I don’t see any reason to criticize her. Especially if the assailant was not named. She wasn’t bashing her rapist. She was talking about her experience and how the administration bungled its handling of her case. And yes, she shared details of the case as well. As is her right.
I was mugged once, I don’t see people falling over themselves to save my anonymous mugger from the shame and humiliation of being falsely accused

this is the reply i tried to leave but it won’t accept my comments:

Actually no. Just because someone alleges they were the victim of a crime is not a reason to automatically believe the crime occurred. This is why we have laws and courts and the Presumption of Innocence. The default position is the exact opposite of what you propose. The reason it is the exact opposite is because of the significant harm caused to innocent parties when they are falsely accused of crimes. That stigma doesn’t go away. When your social circle, or anyone with the internet, can see you were accused of murder, theft robbery, sexual assault, or any other crime, they continually look at you as if you had actually committed that crime.

this article itself, without you know a criminal trial, has found the ex-boyfriend to be a rapist. based on what a story. thats all an allegation of rape is until it is proven in a criminal trial beyond a reasonable doubt. So no I dont want to just live in a world where an allegation is the conviction as you would so like. While everyone will say i am a rape apologist, False rape allegations exist. They are not as rare as everyone on this board seems to believe. One word Duke. A single individual with a “story” successfully destroyed the reputation of numerous young men. How by simply allegeing rape. and what did everyone forget innocent until proven guilty. why because that story was an allegation of rape

Progressive Men: The majority of you are actually rapists, whether
single or married because the majority of you have had sex with your
wives/GFs who have had 2 alcoholic drinks and therefore had sex with a
woman who could not have consented. This is typical University policy.
Why? Because she said so, as in the above case. Additionally, after a
divorce, when you are summarily handed your rear end in the “women take
all family courts” and marginalized to that of a visitor and payment
provider instead of father, we don’t want to hear your whining.
Progressive Women: When your son’s, brothers, husbands, and fathers are
called rapists because a woman at work or school says “I was raped, yea I
know there is no evidence and I refuse to legally identify him but on
the Internet I will” we don’t want to hear your whining. Oh, your a
progressive paternal grandmother who sees her grandchildren infrequently
while the maternal grandmother six states away sees them often because
of the “women take all family courts”? Sorry, this is progressive
policy, and you should be ashamed of not agreeing with the war on women. Men and Women in the Family need to learn that Rape and Domestic Violence are prosecuted under “preponderance of the evidence” instead of “innocent until proven guilty” meaning that if a Judge finds “likelihood” of only 50.01% that it happened, then its GUILTY. No evidence or witnesses needed. I see a lot of women screaming about this, but I suspect that many women with sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers would be outraged that a woman claimed rape, refused to call the police, identify her attacker LEGALLY, but is willing to do so on the Internet.

I’ve been hearing this notion of ‘a woman can’t give clear consent to sex after 2 alcoholic drinks’ for a while now.

I find it a rather a demeaning view of women. If that was really true, then shouldn’t we have laws such as: bars must refuse women service after 1 drink, unless she’s accompanied by some kind of recognized guardian? Hey, isn’t that sort of how it used to be a long, long time ago?

    Some good news toward sanity.

I was accused of verbal and emotional abuse when my EX decided to destroy the marriage. She escalated her accusations to physical because she did not got the results she wanted. Eventually, she got a restraining order and didn’t let me see my kids. She ran a whole series of actions and statements that aligned with her claims, but never had any evidence or proof.

How is this good? Well, I ended up in front of several judges over the course of the divorce and associated proceedings. I was totally impressed with the ability of the court to objectively listen and weigh evidence. Obviously, a restraining order is automatic because there isn’t time to do a trial. However, everything else was done according to solid jurisprudence.

I expected to be presumed guilty. I expected that the “woman never lies” line to be believed. I expected to have my kids torn away from me in the “anti-male family court system”. What I found was that the pendulum has made a substantial swing back to the middle. The “he said, she said” holds no weight. Evidence it critical. In Arizona, the default is joint custody with 50% each parent.

There are plenty of messed up ideas and theories out there. Most of them are on the internet and media. When you get to the actual courts, you see sanity. The judges have seen lots of people (both women and men) game the system, lie, cheat and use emotionally charged attacks. My lawyer said, and my experience confirmed, that how you behave overall is the most important thing. Whoever is bat-shit-crazy is bat-shit-crazy, and will be in a whole variety of areas, and over the length of a contentious court case, it will become obvious. I cannot speak about university’s “Honor Boards”, but from what I’ve hear, it is a totally different.

I don’t know about civilian law, but under the law military law, a woman cannot consent to sex if she is inebriated. Any penetration with an inebriated woman is rape, even if she offers consent and does not say no.

Does it work the other way, too?

When my husband comes home from a night out with the boys just a wee bit tipsy and I throw him down on the bed, does that mean I’ve raped him?

What if we’ve BOTH had more than two drinks?

Did we rape each other simultaneously?

Which one of us is the toddler when we’ve BOTH had a drink?

I can’t quite figure this one out.

In the military, males are always guilty. Even if they’re both drunk. Even if only he is drunk. On the SHARP (Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Policy) papers posted in our dining areas, are criteria for being considered a potential rapist. First item? MALE.
