That didn’t take long!

Yep, even Jezebel is now admitting so many women are refusing the label feminist, that it may actually be counter-productive to continue to insist on its viability.

I want to draw your attention to one passage in particular that perfectly illustrates exactly what the fuck is wrong with “feminism”.

[Women who] provide for themselves and their families, to show that we are hard-working and smart, that we are equals, CEOs, smarty pantses, and the sort of people who can cream the boys at virtually anything.

In the exact same breath, Farty Moore claims women who are EQUALS can CREAM BOYS at virtually everything.

EQUAL = DOMINANT

Uhm, logic fail, Stinkypants.

And let’s look at the facts, shall we?

Cream boys at virtually anything?

What, you mean like Math? Engineering? Computer science? All those things that are the basis for our entire culture and civilization?

Oops. Nope.

degrees

Ladies be creaming the guys in exactly 8 out of 17 categories at the doctoral level. Not even half.

Fuck off feminism. You’re not just way past your sell-by date, you’re stupid.

Lots of love,

JB

They’ll probably (Hopefully? xD) change this, but the linked article currently reads,

“Top powerful lady Marissa Mayer isn’t a feminist. She has bigger problems to solve, like the ones in the company she’s running, then to make sure every choice she makes is good for “the sisterhood.” ”

Apparently Jezebel has better things to do than hire competent editors.

The biggest fail of feminism is declaring that everything traditionally female (childbearing and rearing mostly) is bad and everything traditionally male is good. In their warped world women only have value when they strive to be men– and they’re mighty resentful that the men are so much better at it.

Let them pay no mind, of course, to the havoc it can wreak on a boy’s self-esteem to be repeatedly told how girls can do anything better than he can, or can generally “cream him.” Funny how women would claim to have been victims of such put-downs against women are so willing to do the exact same thing to boys today.

Oh, and somebody remind me again, how many women have won the Fields Medal?

This is one of the articles that will be reframing people telling feminism to fuck off as an example that feminism is helping those people succeed.

After all, women wouldnt be confident enough to chose to be wives and tell society/feminism to fuck itself if feminism hadn’t first slain teh eeeeeevil patriarchy. Right!?

Stupid people will continue to be stupid and ignorant of both facts and history

Did anyone else notice that JB’s table didn’t break out into separate categories doctors of medicine, dentistry, and veterinary medicine? Rather, it’s all “Health Professions and Related Sciences”, which probably was used to hide (rather than takes into account) a high nurse-(or-technologist)-to-doctor ratio.

It kinda stuck out at me….

“who can cream the boys at virtually anything.”

    Sweet.
So why do they need that stupid Violence Against Women Act? They can obviously just cream any man who dares harm them.
Also, if women are supposedly equal to a man in military combat, why do they need a Violence Against Women Act?

It reminds me of whenever I hear “Why don’t women get the same pay for equal qualifications?”, only to discover that by “equal” they mean have a degree (any degree) from college/university.

Gee, do ya think a degree in Gender/Women’s Studies is the same as Computer Science?

Apparently, feminists think they are equally useful/commercial and therefore deserve equal pay.

When I moved to the big city, it took me a long time to figure out why I was only attracted to 1 of 100 women I’d meet. I thought my manpendage was dying. Nope. Turns out, I was meeting 100 females, but only 1% of them were women. Hey! Gender ‘inequality’ is good for the one, best thing between men and women: dynamic relationships.

Keep letting your lady fly – it’s as rare as it is beautiful.

    Peace,

Every time I try to explain to a feminist that I am NOT a feminist because I support equal rights for everyone – not just women’s rights – they tell me that’s what feminism MEANS. Which is a bit like saying that ‘cool’ MEANS ‘not warm’. Well yes, it does. In some contexts. And at other times it means ‘good’. Telling people ‘Today was cool’ does not necessarily mean you are talking about the weather. Telling people you are a feminist does not necessarily mean you are talking about equality. And it STRONGLY IMPLIES that you are not.

David, I had a similar experience & realization. I found that I was just progressively losing interest in the local women (I’m straight) and figured it must have been something hormonal as just a part of aging. I then happened to go on vacation through Eastern Europe and WOW — what an awakening. I seriously felt like a teenager again!

I didn’t know that. But who says flowers can’t be masculine! Though perhaps it’s telling that I, a male, am more interested in the use of partial differential equations to model Leopard or cheetah spots. Especially cheetahs. I’m a cat person. Does that make me a feminist?

In any case, while women have made their contributions to science (Maud Menten being my favorite example, the mother of enzyme kinetics), they’ll never match the guys (in quantity, at least) at pure mathematics or theoretical physics. They may as well accept it, just as I have accepted that no man, not even Pavarotti, will ever sing as beautifully as Maria Callas or Jane Eaglen.

Women aren’t even “supposedly equal to a man in military combat” in the feminists’ opinion. If that were the case, the standards would be the same but they are far different. They are less strong but equal. Think along the lines of fake, but accurate.

I personally prefer to reply that I am a national socialist. I do believe each country’s national identity is a important factor in social cohesion, and I also believe in a state that makes sure the poorest members of society have a minimal standard of living. If the other person has some minimal historical knowledge, they will know how NAtional SoZialism was applied, and may protest that I can’t call myself that, because whatever I may want the term to mean, it is forever associated with what a particular political group has done in its name.

    I just smile and nod.

Feminism has always been about increasing rights for women.
Once upon a time, that was bringing women up to the rights men had, and you could argue that there was an equalist bent (or simply if you believed in equality, you might be working on the same goals. Though a true equalist would be adding women’s rights to men, or taking women’s rights away from women to counter adding men’s rights to women).
But after you reach a certain point, it simply can’t be equal anymore to continue to increase the rights of one group.
And by definition, if a person favoured equal rights, they could call themselves an equalist. Their true beliefs show in the continuance of the name.
