I have no words….

9 Oct

I put this up on Twitter, but those of you who don’t follow me there will still find this….

I can’t find a word for what this is.

I hope it’s a joke.

Here’s the text in case the picture is too small:

Mothers who breastfeed boy babies need to stop. We need to empower more females in this world and by breastfeeding them we are giving them a good start in life which they deserve over a baby boy [sic] which are already physically stronger than baby girls. I have feminist views and I am not ashamed to admit that. No baby boy will ever be fed from my breasts if I am unfortunate enough to have a son. Formula for him and circumcision to take away sexual pleasure from him when he grows up.

Poe's feminist

What do you say to something like that?

Wow.

Absolutely zero love for this, or the horrible person who wrote it.

We may have to invoke Poe’s Law: is it real, or a parody?

Poe’s law, named after its author Nathan Poe, is an Internet adage reflecting the idea that without a clear indication of the author’s intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between an expression of sincere extremism and a parody of extremism.

Ahh the insane ramblings of a first world spoiled princess who’s never had a day of struggle in her life (mostly due to the back-breaking sweat of the evil men she so despises).

All we can hope for is she’s so hideous that no one will reproduce with her.

That has to be a parody, someone trying to make Feminists look bad (as though they don’t do that well enough on their own).

If that’s legit, the woman who said it should immediately have any children she has taken away as an abusive mother, and perhaps should have female circumcision performed on her, to “reduce sexual pleasure”.

Although I was the first to suggest it may be fake, I should note that there is documentation of feminists who say things like this and mean it in all sincerity. You’ll find it, amongst other places, in the Agent Orange File. Thus invoking the very real question: real, or not-real?

Is this even worth our time?

If geniuses exist then it’s only natural that the other spectrum will exist too, mental deficiency is not a crime. Is it required to highlight them and give needless legitimacy to it?

This is more like the symptom of the disease than the disease itself, we already know that the disease exists – it’s enough that we plumb for the cure, no need for further proof of the blockage.

While this is quite probably a troll, it is a sentiment I have seen on some of the more extreme RadFem blogs, so I wouldn’t dismiss it out of hand. It’s really just a logical extension of feminism’s hatred of men (not that feminism is particularly susceptible to logic…)

The right to say it, yes, absolutely. The right to DO it…. Oh crap, that’s a yes too. Many mothers do these things, out of ignorance. But to do so out of malice… *shudder*. That’s not a mother. That’s a monster.

I’ve heard this before too, and the assumption was that it’s a troll. While some people might genuinely think like this, I’d guess those people would ‘just’ abort when they discovered the sex. So I’m gonna assume troll. (Hey, if it lets me sleep at night…)

As an interesting side, I’m 99% sure that it’s not true that baby boys are stronger than baby girls. I seem to recollect reading once that breastfeeding is even more important for male infants than for females. But maybe that was taking into account that males are more likely to have parts of their genitals amputated and so are more vulnerable to infection etc.

At best a troll and at worst a red herring to set us off away from more important things. Much as I enjoy JB beating up on the latest excesses of Jezebel feminism, it’s important to keep focused on what mainstream culture has taken as ‘given’. So many even smart people accept the 77 cent dollar myth and’ rape culture’. So many agree that women are underprivileged and men have it all.

Dumping on this breastfeeding troll won’t get rise from those whom we’re trying to change. They’d agree.

Just my 2 cents for not giving the troll post the time of day …

One can also troll radfem chats and blogs and find statements that are outright sociopathic hate speech…this is actually very mild compared to some things I have seen.

I was raised by a woman who gave me a gender neutral name because she was a feminist. She raised me without many of the standard boys toys like toy guns and legos. To this day, she complains every time I fix my own car because it’s “macho”, constantly nagging me to take it to a mechanic instead. So I believe this woman could exist. It may be an internet meme for now, because I have seen it before long ago, but I do believe this woman exists. It may be only slightly exaggerated from the original post.

    Agreed.

The real danger is not some loony who doesn’t even mask her hatred of the male gender (because even feminists will distance themselves of her, just to avoid looking bad), but the hard wired myths perpetuated by feminism that generate misandry (both cultural and institutionalized) as a result.

I am not surprised, shocked and disgusted all at once.

I am not surprised because I have long believed in woman’s deep capacity for hatred and evil intent. Women are fully equal with men in this regard.

I am shocked because so many commenting on here find it hard to believe.

Funnily enough, I used to think that made me a feminist – but then I discovered feminist writings like Jezebel online and discovered that I was never really a true feminist. Then I went looking for a kickback from men and then I found a link to this blog.

I’m not so sure it would be so hard to believe if the genders were reversed. We find it so hard to swallow the fact that a woman can hate, abuse and neglect her own child that women walk from court scot free all the time – or at least get a reduced sentence because she must have been led by the nose by an evil man whom she was afraid of. Or you hear so often that a female criminal was “under the spell” of a man who must’ve “made her do it”.

    Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.

It makes me so angry that women get away with these things all the time because we are seen as innocent and childlike.

Scumbag, although that feels like a weak epithet.

And the assumption that breast feeding is a zero sum game is just bizarre – unless she had fraternal twins it’s not like there would be a choice of whether to allocate her resources to a boy or a girl (even then, you’ve got two boobs, so it’s still not an either/or).

I’m not sure if this is a troll or not, but I am sure there are evil bitches who think just like this. I’ve encountered the screwed up men they’ve raised and heard the “I wanted a girl instead of you” stories.

Assuming this woman isn’t a troll, I’d like to see her march her privileged white tukhes into an inner-city minority neighborhood and repeat that post word-for word. Let her tell black and Hispanic men that they are unworthy, to their faces.

Heterodoxy once quoted a 1974 Ms. article in which a feminist revealed her hatred for her own son. Her OB-GYN held up her newborn for her to look at, moments after delivery. Her reaction?

“All I could see was c*ck.”

    That’s patholgical.

    You wish.
One of the most (in)famous quotes from german proto-feminist Alice Schwarzer “We have to make it harder for our boys so our girls have it easier.”

It’s not an uncommon trope among radfems, yet it’s often not spelled out this clear.

There’s an ancient (well, 1986) german article from Schwarzer’s magazine “Emma” that goes even further, by a feminist mom who gleefully discribes how she tormented her son in great detail.

Though such sentiments are expressed: there feminist mothers who openly complained in articles about being “forced” to raise a son when a daughter was wanted and trying to figure out how to “correct” that “problem”. Also the Canadian author Margaret Atwood is quoted as saying of a a fellow author’s child within earshot: “A very nice child. Too bad’s he’s a boy.”
