A woman commits suicide after losing access to her children. Who owns her words?

4 May

Chris Mackney’s ex-wife says she owns his words.  Would we be more outraged if it were a woman who took her own life and then her husband claimed ownership of her last thoughts?

Let’s see….

Had the genders been flipped, the moral outrage would have been overwhelming. On another blog, the comment thread had devolved to “men are just drafthorses” with quite a few references to how drafthorses are rewarded for a lifetime of utility.
    This can’t continue.
Thanks JB for helping bring this to light.

Excellent job on the video Janet (thanks for caring) and can why it’s emotionally painful. It’s terrible to think that this man’s life was so painful and destroyed that he felt the only way to find peace was to end his life.

It’s infuriating, depressing and tragic but true. It’s it amazing that this society has become so misandric that Chris was treated like a black person in the Jim Crow south? No rights of any kind and INTENTIONALLY destroyed in every possible way.

I saw Peters Nolan’s comments under your YouTube video and while I think he’s wrong to act the way he did you really can’t blame him in some ways (although I wish he’d take it out on the culprits). Also, he might be right that if this kind of bigotry continues (and grows) we might see a backlash so large that it could become scary one day. We may end up seeing REAL misogyny sometime in the future because of it (but maybe not. Who knows?).

We better get this problem corrected ASAP for everyone’s sake. This sadistic and cowardly tyranny must end. People can only take so much torture before they snap. As families have been weakened and destroyed the government has only grown and become tyrannical and evil.

I really have little to no hope this will be fixed but we can at least try. What else can we do?

Every time something like this happens, a thousand more men decide against marriage. Family court seems to be killing its own business model.

Men need to stop marrying, getting into relationships with and interacting with women. Shun them. Do not donate to sperm banks. Do not get into hookups. Abandon women, leave them to their own devices, and let them turn on one another. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, worth the risk inherent to interacting with a woman. If you get a woman at the counter at the store, ask for a male cashier or leave. Any kind of interaction with a woman gives her ammunition to load the gun that is pointed at men’s heads 24/7.

Yeah, had some fun in the comments section over there. The feminist shrikes there really don’t have any argument, do they?

I understand your anger. As a woman, I find the wife’s actions detestable and am working on lobbying for family court reform in my state based on what happened to this poor man.

We are not all bad, and leaping to the conclusions that you posted above will cause problems, not solve them. Let’s make this rational, decent people vs. abusers, not men vs. women.

Yes, I saw, you creepy bitch! I just like correcting their facts (which of course they ignore) and making their heads explode.

I know it’s beneath me and I should be ashamed, but…

You and your goddamn patriarchal facts! We clearly need more feminist biology programs to set the world straight about facts: if they feel wrong, they are!

Scientific achievements should explode with that kind of insight.

They are getting around this by treating any relationship as a marriage so the man gets screwed by a contract that he didn’t even know he entered into.
I don’t know about the USA but in many other western countries a man only needs to live with a woman to be deemed to be in a defacto relationship and then he will be taken to the cleaners just the same as if he was married.
In Australia there isn’t even a minimum time that the couple need to have lived together:
“A defacto relationship is where 2 people who are not married or in a registered relationship, live together as a couple. You are in a defacto relationship from the time you start living together as a couple. There is no minimum time period for a relationship to be seen as defacto”

How dare you erase my lived experience! That’s a reversal and silencing behavior! How dare you judge me, bitch!

You’re denying my existence as a human being.

    And I applaud you…

Yes, NAWALT and all that, blah, blah. What we’re saying is that relationship, especially marriage, are not wort the risk. It’s sort of like saying we should invest in a stock that has a huge chance of causing you to go broke. Why would we want to do that?

This problem needs to be fixed by getting government COMPLETELY OUT of not only the marriage business but academia, the media, and all the other places that government has infected. Everything is so politicized now that it’s becoming very difficult not to be come a victim of ideological nutcase. In the case of men, every woman, good or not, is a potential bullet to a man’s head. It’s just not worth it.

Finally, we’re not leaping to conclusions at all. It’s REALITY. It sucks and none of us want it this way but it is what it is. We have a LOT of work to do.

“Feminist biology”. Janet, are you as sick as I am at how almost everything in the US and Canada is now politicized? I feel like I live in the Soviet Union in a cultural sense.

Feminist biology? What’s next? Feminist star gazing?
