If you watched it about 1 hour later ( I didn’t record it) they went and messed up your original quote. They said something like 70% of women are secretaries or something similar. WTF? I dodn’t think they even bothered to listen to you. Why doesn’t that surprise me? Anyway, good job.

Wait, you founded Women Against Feminism, Janet?

Good job Janet.

The ‘lovely’ Clementine Ford has written an article about #womenagainst feminism. I wonder if they’d post your reply? They always close comments early and censor heavily.

Excellent job. Can you be on like every TV, every day…forever? By the way, the host was a woman, her producer is a woman and I believe she asked a female director to put the graphic on the screen. Feminism has worked pretty well over there at HLN. And as far as her imploring that her “single mom” producer “has to work”: Most men the world over “have to work” and do so without complaint or without framing that reality as a gender issue.

Isn’t it curious how they can have a relatively polite conversation on a woman’s issue, but rail when it comes to men’s issues?
The host was really good at only addressing the very thinnest top layer of the issue, completely ignoring anything substantive about her producer’s life choices, or the fact that women seem to think they are entitled to be both parents and successful employees out in the world.
I’ll never understand this mentality, though I think it’s inherent in the gender because it’s just so incredibly easy for them to get sex.

One of the reasons that most secretaries are female is descrimination. Men are not welcome in secretarial field. Also if they do get in, they are resented by the females.
Funny thing is secretaries used to be clerks. E.g. It was one way that poor men could train as lawyers using clerking as an apprenticeship. Once women wanted clean nice work men were crowded out.
I got this from an academic study/book from UBC. Of course it was a feminist work to prove women were being oppressed by clerical work. Ugh

I think you had a good appearance, but it feels a lot more could have been said. Most women that watch it might not have gotten exactly how bad feminism is. They’re still living under assumptions of wage gap inequality and “not as many women in political office.”
I disagreed with the thankfulness showed towards feminism for all it has done for women, as I think anything important that needed addressing was addressed not because of feminism, but tech advancement, and the choices provided to many from that, as well as increases in the standard of living. So it’s irritating when feminists takes credit for things that they deserve no credit for. Like saying they got women education (not even true) when in just 1940, less than 5% of Americans over 25 had a Bachelor’s degree, in 1945 about 5% of those that graduated high school went onto college.
They can take credit for advocating more government though. I’ll give them that. And women getting the right to vote, cause that sort of has seemed to have gone hand in hand with advocating more government. Economic collapse coming for the win, I guess.

Are you the leader of the movement Janet? I thought someone else started the hastag?
You are a great voice for the movement though 😀 Keep up the good work.

Spot on, MC. It grates my nerves to see folks give feminism credit for stuff they had nothing to do with. The list of bad things that have happened to our society because of feminism is mighty long!

And the list of good things is nonexistent

I didn’t, Joe, but the woman who did has gotten so many death threats from feminists she is happy to have me take the credit. We have spoken and she is genuinely afraid for her family.

Had to tailor the message, MC. Baby steps! By agreeing that feminism did good things I derailed the “don’t you like having rights” conversation. Strategy is important right now.

I thought you delivered a one-two knockout, JB, given the very short time allotted to you.
Firstly, by showing some enthusiasm for the WAF trend, as opposed to the suspiciousness that some MRAs are displaying, which outsiders wouldn’t understand.
Secondly, for pointing out that WAF is fine, but that now it is time to address some of men’s issues.
And for a bonus you succinctly addressed male reproductive rights, something that your host had probably never even thought about.
This was a great example of how we can get the most information out in the shortest amount of time.

Ouch. Hope you’ll be ok Janet. I don’t want you or your family getting death threats.
I’ve gotten pissed at people many times but man, I’ve NEVER threatened some poor soul with death for crying out loud! Take care.

Good interview.
I thought you were now back in graduate school? If so, I certainly think you should mention that. From the interview I think other people might dismiss you as “oh, traditional housewife”.

Janet, you are sexy. I am your fan.

Strategy is important. As much as I think the MRM should be in glee over this, I’d say to move forward cautiously. Many of the WAF do mention supporting men’s issues and I’d hate to see the same “you support men’s issues = MRA” line that is making feminism lose.
I’d emphasize the enormous diversity of WAF, as it ranges from career women to housewives/mothers, those unmarried and childless (like me), ‘tomboys’ to ‘girly girls’, traditionalists to progressives.

you will notice how the law enforcement and media does not cover or focus on the fact that feminists are saying very foul things to you or other founders of this antifeminist movement. yet if it were a mens group making these threats the entire nation would be focused on it and in an uproar. you see it play out time and again as proof.
this is one more reason why we are so clearly in one of the most bizaare “ist” government societies in history. this time it is not just jews or blacks or a minority being discriminated against in some of the most profound ways, it is 50% of the entire population of a nation around the world.
the feminist movement is evil on so many levels that people are waking up to it even though they are taught and naturally think women are victims and need of support. that is why feminism has become so powerful and so disgusting because it has taken us 150 years to realize how wicked of a movement it really is.
do yourself a favor and listen to karen straugns speech at the mens conference in detroit, she clearly shows how feminism has always been about misandry, victimhood and not solving issues to help women but always trying to hurt men, make men bad guys, gain power and use all women for their own gain.
we need an egalitarian movement not feminism, feminism has a place right along all the other evil “isms” out there.

GOD, what an idiot- “I don’t know that every woman is a secretary.” Talking to the average person is like talking to a babbling monkey- misinformed, shallow, ignorant of EVERYTHING.
She couldn’t even understand basic conversation and basic information. And that’s the average American! Plus these creepy news people always talk to fast like preachers- anyone can do that, that doesn’t take any talent. But people who want to come across as trustworthy DON’T.
