Yo Twitter – WTF???

29 Aug

cake

So it seems that my account on Twitter has been suspended. I find that odd since most of my most recent tweets have been about baking a wedding cake. Not exactly controversial. I suspect some sort of automatic response was triggered when a lot of people simultaneously reported me for abuse but I have no idea.

I received absolutely no information about the reason for the suspension.

I have sent an email to Twitter and I am awaiting an actual human response. Until then, you can keep up with me on Facebook (Janet Bloomfield) or here at the blog, although I won’t be posting anything substantial until after the wedding on Saturday.

The cake is coming along splendidly, and I will post a pic when it’s all done! Not on Twitter, though.

Apparently wedding cakes are part of the pastriarchy and not permitted.

Lots of love,

JB

So did any of your tweets include your above picture, in which it looks to me like the bride has her hand on the groom’s naked ass, with her fingers wedged between his butt-cheeks?

I hope that you get a response and an explanation soon, and also that your account gets reinstated soon.

I forgot to add that I hope the wedding goes beautifully. I really admire anyone with the patience, precision, creativity, and nerves of steel that it takes to be a maker of wedding cakes. 🙂

Have you tried tweeting about really inane topics about oppression because of video games, movies, and men being on money? If not, they probably deleted your account for not being inane enough.

Or you could tweet pictures of severed heads. Twitter seems pretty cool with that.

It seems pretty obvious to me. When you started tweeting about wedding cakes, it became intensely triggering to Strong Independent Feminists® who are also Perpetual Victims of the Patriarchy™ and who view wedding cakes as violent assault symbols of the wedding-slavery that forge the chains of everlasting oppression of all women everywhere and the domination of all men for all time.

The backlash must have been massive for so egregious an offense.

Isn’t Twitter supposed to send you an email when an account is suspended?

I’ve already started organizing the Free JudgyBitch1 movement. And by that I mean I tweeted about it once and have been mulling over T-shirt designs.

Hope the wedding (and the cake) is joyous…

Judgy Bitches have to take their chances. 🙂

Curiously, I use the c-word regularly (the unpardonable sin) and have yet to detect Twitter gastrointestinal distress.

    Kisses.

Not odd Janet. Anytime you raise a controversial subject that the left does not like, they start reporting you. Twitter doesn’t actually think about what it is doing it automatically cuts people off based on the number of complaints. I imagine, since you tend to tell it like it is; this will be a regular occurrence. It probably won’t be long before it happens to me as well. I’ll tweet this.

I am sorry to hear about Twitter giving you the boot. Yes, it is censorship. It is strange that your last topic happened to be something so innocuous to normal people. I guess wedding cakes really pushed them over the edge.

Getting you suspended is a trick the fems and social warriors use against people they don’t like. If there were a bunch complaining at the same time, then there’s a good chance it was a conspiracy to pick on you. They’ll probably target you on Facebook as well. Twitter and Facebook seem to have no balls when it comes to respecting freedom of expression.

I’m sorry she screwed around on her boyfriend — but at least he found out and moved on. Or has he not moved on yet? Is he sill intent on making everyone else aware that he was a victim of her lies? I don’t have any respect for people — male or female — who sleep with people to further their careers — but then, I also don’t respect anyone in power who helps people advance in exchange for sex. You can’t have prostitutes without Johns, and vice versa.

If you got suspended for that someone had it in for you. I follow several adult entertainers on Twitter and they post hardcore pics and no one says anything.
