I just discovered Judgybitch, and a line from a cheesy old song from The Partridge Family comes to mind……….”I think I love You”.
    You rock!

@0:56 “five out of every three women”
    What does that even mean?

Speaking of that part of the discussion having to do with rape, rape culture, and rape fantasy, let’s look at ballpark numbers: What are the chances that a random woman age 15 and older will be raped on any given day?

    Taking the number of women multiplied by the number of days in the year and then just taking specifically reported, forcible rapes of women by men in the US, and you get;

    (120,000,000 * 365) / 80,000 = 54,750.

The chances an average woman age 15 or older will be raped on any given day is 1 in 54,750. That’s a slender chance given the feminist obsession with rape.

Debating a bit of feminist insanity

This is why I hate JudgyBitch: She is making me wait a whole damned week to hear her interview with Peter Loyd. I want it now! Now! Do you hear me, you traditionalist gender traitor false consciousness bourgeois running dog lackey? Now!! I do not want to wait. You are oppressing me. The United Nations needs to write up an international treaty forcing you to give me what I want — when I want it. You belong in a correct thinking compliance re-education camp. — A whole week! Sheeeesh.

JB – Re: potential for violence on campus due to false rape claims.

The feminist narrative is in fact directed at exactly that. One of the whole points of a justice system is to provide a reasonably fair, reasonably predictable mechanism whereby society can adjudicate grievances according to accepted and understood rules. Ideally, the legal system lets people know what behavior is unacceptable and punishes those who ignore the rules. We do this in order to provide society a safe alternative to mob violence. We can accept imprisonment imposed by a court; we can’t accept lynching.

There are two parts to the feminist narrative on rape. One is that rape is common. The other is that it routinely goes unpunished, i.e. the justice system doesn’t really care about rape and therefore fails to punish rapists. Transparently, that second part of the feminist narrative is aimed directly at the promotion of vigilante violence against those accused of rape. The narrative holds that the criminal justice system isn’t doing its job of punishing rapists. Therefore, summary punishment in the form of mob action is appropriate.

Let us be clear; the feminist narrative is directed precisely that way. The logical and predictable outcome of accepting that narrative is mob action.

I think you really hit on a huge part of our gender and family court issues re: the deep-seated desire of women wanting to be desired. Feminists are getting back at men. Yes. But women get back at the “popular” women, too. I see this all the time with the slut talk. My wife is obsessed with who all the sluts are in my daughter’s high school. She is SO jealous of these girls. She reeks of jealousy.

The same goes for men, too. One of my brother’s attorneys, a woman, told him that a particular male family court judge was going to rule against him because he couldn’t get women and my brother made more money than him. She called that one! I would argue there’s a deep-seated resentment among many men against more “successful” men and that drives some of the draconian, life ruining events (and lack of concern) many men face in family court.

I don’t think you can really have a definitive discussion on men’s issues without a frank discussion on this topic.

It’s also the case that by claiming rape largely goes unpunished, campus feminists are encouraging ostensible victims to report rape and sexual assault only to campus sex tribunals.

    This accomplishes two things:

    1) It allows feminism’s expanded definitions of rape to go largely unexamined. This in turn allows for the unimpeded inflation of rape statistics.

    2) It allows feminists to define, control, regulate and punish sexual relations between consenting adults on college campuses in unprecedented fashion, towards eventually taking this dangerous farce into the mainstream.

Prior to her recent (and perhaps temporary) recanting of “1 in 5”, NY Senator Kristin Gillebrand threatened to explore taking the new affirmative consent approach to rape into the mainstream of the US criminal justice system.
