Certain media outlets are crediting me with starting the #womenagainstfeminism hashtag, Facebook and Tumblr pages, and I want to make it unequivocally clear to my readers that IT’S NOT TRUE.
I did NOT start the hashtag, I do not own the FB or Tumblr. I AM the most influential tweeter on the hashtag according to Twitter analytics, but I am not the author or genesis of #womenagainstfeminism.
The person who started the movement has received so many threats from feminists that she is genuinely afraid for herself and her family. She will not be identifying herself publicly anytime soon. We have been in contact with one another and she is not concerned about me being misidentified as the creator of #womenagainstfeminism.
I have agreed that I will passively accept credit and not offer any correction to the claim that I started #womenagainstfeminism, but if asked directly, I will tell the truth.
Just wanted all of you to know.

Although you have all the internal fortitude to start something rolling I am glad that the real person who started it is safe – Feminism has always had more than its fair share of lunatics and miscreants who are more than willing to harm someone in the name of keeping feminism safe. but as with any troubling ideology – who polices the thought police?

So a woman kicks off a space where other women express their opinions. With barely so much as a rude word they say why they aren’t impressed with a political programme. Sounds like feminisms been successful then . But. Irony of ironies feminists threaten said woman , trash the women and their opinions on the grounds they’re stupid and tell them to shut up. Another woman defends the originator and the protestors on the grounds that women should express their views and engage in debate on such important issues . She is brave , articulate and adds a. dash of humour , surely she must be a feminist heroine , oh no! It’s JB and the feminists want her silenced too! Damn those nasty men who somehow must be behind this outbreak of female liberation , how could so many women express themselves unless provoked to it by abusive men. Oh dear it’s getting all so complicated.

As you become more well-known (and more widely hated by feminazis), aren’t you and Mr. JB concerned about the hazard to your family? Don’t get me wrong, selfishly I hope that you keep right on the path you’re on, and I mean no disrespect to Mr. JB’s skills as protector, but the right crazy person can do a lot of damage before they flame out. And then there’s the more likely (and more insidious) possibility of having your family’s real identities plastered in the media.
Having read a lot of your stuff, and generally being impressed with the level of maturity of your and Mr. JB’s decision-making and thought process, I’m curious what your discussions on this have been.

Tyler, it has always been my intention to reveal my true identity – I just hope I get a chance to do that strategically and at a time of my choosing.
The threat narrative is very different when you live in a small town deep in the boreal forest in Canada. We do not have the same gun culture here, the local police force and population is very protective of locals, and if push comes to shove, my aggressor better have head to toe body armor. A kevlar vest isn’t going to stop me putting an arrow through her throat.
I am not afraid. It’s all talk and if anyone wants to take it to action, well, bring it. You better hope it’s me that gets you. I’ll make it quick and painless. My husband will not be so mercifully inclined.

Echoing ‘Tyler’s’ concerns, please keep yourself and your family safe. Thinking back, one could see the anger of feminists before ‘WAF”, in how they’d previously reacted to the “300 Sandwiches” woman in New York (who did get engaged in May at sandwich 257). Take care!

I was thinking the same thing when I read patriarchal landmines comment. In fact most of the polling data I’ve seen suggests that feminism and tradcon views (both of which are extremes to be rejected) have equal representation or shares of women. I wonder if the indifferent middle is larger than either extreme, which is what my personal anecdotal experience suggests;with of course the WAF and fMRA position being the smallest right now. Most of my female friends are all mothers of sons, mothers of stepchildren or second wives and that has made them skeptical of feminism.

With you there. On top of that, Feminism is more of a 24-hour job than being a parent. You have to be scouring the world for threats to destroy all the time, not to mention those times when no threat is apparent, and one must look for something to “interpret” as a threat…
Most people have better things to do with their lives than hunt bogeymen… Though, it does make me wonder if Feminists might not be religiously inclined people who got sold a religion with the great line: “It’s not a religion!”…
It’s nice to think the only difference between Tom Cruize and a Feminist is tits…
