When I first was on Twitter I was very passionate about my pet activism item and trolled mercilessly. I got suspended a lot. I have been watching your activity with interest and actually I know exactly why you are being suspended. You can be active & vocal and not get suspended but you need to understand the lines you are crossing first so you know not to cross them. Having multiple accounts is a pain (I didn’t do it, I resolved to figure out how to avoid suspension instead) and being suspended is a pain too. My suggestion is fix it. Your activism will be the better for it, I promise.

Mina it is unlikely to be a result of trolling, which I am judicious about. That will get you two warnings. This was an instant suspension, which likely means a block bot.

I don’t know much about Twitter — but I am now learning more directly about how some feminists really can’t handle dissenting voices. I’m not even exactly sure where I’m at right now in all this — but I’ve gotten involved with a dialogue on a feminist site, at which I’ve been a longtime poster, regarding that article by the woman whose sister was a founding mother of NOW, and have been sharing my concerns about issues such as NOW being so opposed to joint custody of children in divorce cases, as well about the CDC defining rape so as to prevent most female-to-male rapes from being classified as rape…and one feminist poster has accused me of great dishonesty.
She just can’t believe me when I say that at 50, I feel like I still don’t have a clear understanding of the truth regarding feminist tenets like “the patriarchy” and “rape culture.” I feel like she’s attacking me as a person because she doesn’t have anything intelligent to say about the concerns I’m presenting. That’s probably the case with the people who keep pushing you off of Twitter. They know they can’t win an argument so they just want to shut you up.

There’s no better or faster way to know who is in the right in an argument, than if one side tries to silence the other. It reminds me of this clip with Ricky Gervais explaining why he became an atheist:

It’s the Marxist foundations of modern feminism showing through. Like Stalin’s purges or Mao’s Cultural Revolution, dissent or even questions cannot be tolerated. They know that their “Feminist Theory” is built on lies, perpetuated by eternal victimhood; they know that once unindoctrinated people see that those “theories” are build on speculation that is taken as fact that is taken as gospel (see: Patriarchy, the; “Rape Culture,” etc.) the edifice of feminism will come crashing down around their ears.
And, because they know their “theory” cannot be supported by argument, reason, or logic, they must destroy opponents who use those tools. Unlike Stalin and Mao, they can’t put on Show Trials, they can’t disappear you to Siberia or reeducation camps, they can’t just take you out into the back alley and shoot you. At least not yet, anyway.
So they will do the next best thing and try to silence you by any means possible, preferably from the shadows, which is the only place they can thrive.
It’s good you and I know that they’ll fail.
But I’d still try to get Twitter to acknowledge that the account shouldn’t have been suspended, as from the terms of service, multiple suspensions of multiple accounts can lead to banning (though they claim not to practice IP-address bans, who knows…
Fight the good fight.

There’s a fine line between speaking your mind, and throwing your pearls to pigs as you seem to be doing. Some people just can’t be reasoned with and I feel as though you’re simply antagonising them, rather than adding something positive to the discussion.

Well, just judging from a quick glance at their “about” page, they’re pretty unwelcoming to a lot of people, including gays. I wouldn’t want to be part of such an unwelcoming group. They only want men and women who fit into their very rigid mold of masculine and feminine.

Vg: my countryman, Antonio Banderas, has aged as good wine, he has money and he has fame.
Her ex Melanie, she has aged like bad milk, she has money (men do not give a damn about that), and she has fame (men do not give a damn about that).
They are the same age. But Banderas looks like a charming, classy, mature latin lover.
And Melanie looks like an 80 years old lady.
So, Banderas, dumped her and now he is dating a 20something Dutch hottie, By the way… after a short revival with Sharon Stone (who has aged like good wine, also. Not all women age badly).

On the topic of Twitter, have you seen Zoe Quinn’s Twitter of recent? She’s gone full on insane. I really don’t condone how people have treated her (largely) and the stuff with Mr. Baldwin (I genuinely forget which one because they’re all a bit nuts) but Jesus girl, get a grip. No one is talking about you BECAUSE YOU’RE A WOMAN. No one thinks you’re a bad person BECAUSE YOU’RE A WOMAN. No one is casting doubt on your integrity BECAUSE YOU’RE A WOMAN. It’s because you did something very shitty, that in some countries would be considered rape if you were a man, and then lied about it. Compulsively, impulsively, pre-meditated, whatever. It was still wrong and you never apologised. It’s obvious your ex publicly shamed you for two, not-woman hating reasons: because he was worried about cronyism, but most importantly, he felt the only way he might make you apologise and be truthful about your actions was shaming you. It was clearly a last resort.
It’s not as if this has never happened to men in the public eye. Not a great example, as he was much, much more famous but Tiger Woods’ career was wrecked after it was revealed that he was constantly shagging other women (“A December 2009 study estimated the shareholder loss caused by Woods’ affairs to be between $5 billion and $12 billion”). It’s pretty much the opposite of sexism to hold you to the same standard society would, and does, treat men. Zoe Quinn’s job status has not been affected and although homeless, that’s because she’s continued to be as antagonistic as her antagonists are towards her and left her home voluntarily. I don’t imagine she’s hard up for cash and actually living on the street or in a shelter, either.
I’d say all of this to her, but she’d just go ZOMGGGGGG self-hater! Oh, and did I mention she was a little insane?
