#FreeTheNipple but only when it’s a feminist nipple?

Head’s up: this post is SFW – all explicit images are on imgur and you have to click a link to open them. Those images are NSFW.

Update: I posted a link to a blog that contained my image and was banned for 72 hrs from Facebook.

As many of you know, I am still suspended from Twitter for daring to tweet Jessica Valenti’s own words back at her. Futrelle has cried feminist tears all over his blog insisting that I was suspended for creating a Poe of Valenti, and apparently checking something as rigorous as the date on a Tweet is far too involved for Davey-boy and his journalism know-how. That level of fact-checking is just not reasonable.

jbfakequotestwitter

According to Futrelle, a tweet sent August 1st, caused a suspension December 24th? In the meantime, I was false flagged repeatedly, suspended, suspended again while suspended, restored and then suspended again. Nah, there’s no campaign of harassment. Not at all.

I am not the only one subjected to harassment on social media. Feminist haters have targeted two of my friends on Facebook, and falsely reported their images as abusive or inappropriate. For those of you who are not entirely clear, a false flagging campaign is when feminist harassers choose a single image, no matter what that image actually contains, and report it to social media moderators as abusive. There used to be a feature on Tweetdeck that allowed users to see if an image had been reported as abuse, and my initial suspension on Twitter was triggered, I believe, by me posting an image of a wedding cake. I could see that the image had been reported, and within hours, I was suspended. That would have been in late August of last year. The wedding was on Labor Day weekend and the cake was fucking awesome!

Here are the two images that my Facebook friends John Gormley and Jasmin Newman posted to their walls, which were then reported for containing nudity.

gormley

jasmin

And that is what false flagging as a means of harassment looks like. Feminist haters are trying to get Facebook to ban John and Jasmine because they do not like John and Jasmine having their own thoughts and daring to challenge feminism. Here is an image one of the precious little things sent John:

gormley

Who are the harassers threatening violence again?

In light of the #FreeTheNipple campaign on social media, in which feminists bare their breasts as a means of defiance and empowerment, and in light of feminists false flagging anti-feminists by claiming their images contain nudity, I decided to test my page for trolls and I posted a partially nude selfie to my blog. You can see the image here.

I was suspended within, what …. 45 minutes? The image was reported as containing nudity, which it did, in fact, contain. But at the exact same time that feminists are claiming the right to bare their breasts, they are reporting an anti-feminist for doing exactly that thing. And not only did I post a nude, I did not make any effort to filter or photoshop out the effects of birthing and breastfeeding three children.

Feminists: willing to celebrate women’s bodies in all their shapes and sizes as long as those women follow the fascist regime of feminism. Ooh, with conditions like that, who could refuse?

Of course, Futrelle picked up the story, and whined about how some tit pics were acceptable and others were not, failing to distinguish between pics sent to individual men privately as a means of manipulation and pics plastered over social media to make a broader point about feminist censorship and harassment. It kind of makes me laugh whenever Futrelle writes about how I suck at PR, because A) he’s writing about me, and B) how much effort does it take to click open the masthead and read my actual job title?  Fact-checking: not Futrelle’s strong suit. Then again, he is a feminist, even if he did lapse one time, and feminists are allergic to facts. You know a Pulitzer is not in your future when noticing dates and confirming job titles is too complex to handle.

My Facebook page has now been restored, my selfie is all over Twitter and my piece is making feminists cry over at Buzzfeed. They are all so classy, too. Check this comment out:

What a perfect little feminist: crass, rude, and cluelessly hypocritical. I have another piece I’m going to put up over there. Might as well get banned as many places as I can.

Every time they try to silence me, I only get stronger.

Lots of love,

JB

Ms. Valenti, let me lay some facts on you.

Men, as a whole, are larger, stronger, faster, more ruthless, way better at physical combat and far better suited to dispensing mayhem than women, as a whole, will ever even think of being. If we truly hated women, you’d all be dead and we’d all be gay.

The fact that you can continue to spew your hatred, bigotry and bile all over the internet without the slightest thought concerning the possibility of seriously adverse consequences, gives the lie to your statement.

We love you, whether you choose to accept it or not. Why, we can’t always figure out.

Keep strong, Janet. It amazes me how much resilience you have taking these nutjobs on.

I avoid them at all costs as I have enough risk just being a straight white male but I just wanted to say thanks for helping expose their vile ‘ethical’ structure.

Thank God you didn’t photoshop or change anything!! You are gorgeous just the way you are! I’ve been following and reading your stuff for a couple months now. I love watching you make them squirm with honesty, transparency and determination. It’s crazy to think that before I stumbled across your writing, I had started to think that I just must be one huge ass because I thought the way I did. I’ve since come to realize how far reaching and sneaky the feminist agenda is and that what I was actually doing was thinking and acting how men are supposed to act. Also exposed, was just how many feminists (full blown or those that have fem principles and don’t even realize it themselves) are in my life or that I come into contact with every day. Anyway, just wanted to say keep it up. Thanks.

Feminists want to use nudity as a tactic while hating it at the same time. That’s pretty much my definition of insanity.

Designation “feminist” is not carved in stone. We can imagine how a feminst will react to the idea of equal parenting when her son looses custody. Then, every feminist will become an equalist or even a machist. TS, Niagara Falls

You’re never going to get a consistent message from feminists on a topic like this. Partly because like your article here showed, they will pick a particular stance on a subject when its convenient for them and pretend like that was their opinion all along. And because this is the same ideology that has some proponents that think slutwalks or whatever you call them will help fight the “patriarchy” and then others that think the porn industry is evil. You would think that the industry where women vastly out earn their male peers would be a feminist dream but whatever I guess being a feminist isn’t fun if you aren’t blaming men for every problem under the sun.Don’t get me wrong, diversity in political thought is a good thing but feminism’s inability to reach anything close to a consensus on this issue helped convince me that they’re more interested in vilifying men than helping women.

Dear woman, every time I think you’ve launched your most tactical nuke, you surprise me.

I’ve written about the #FreeTheNipple horseshit, too—it’s almost creepy how awesome womens’ liberation is. Girls walking around topless? Yes please, definitely continue sticking it to the “patriarchy.” At this point, I’d hate to see women PANDERING to the patriarchy.

    A bit of shame confession.

While I find you equitable and quite personable, I’m not a fanboy—but your Imgur picture is making resistance hard. Mrs. St. James, who is overwhelming fair to all the naked women we see, also strongly approves of your form.

You can likely imagine my surprise the first time she made such a comment years ago. She was not envious, not angry, just… analytical. She’s also as straight as a gray-scale rainbow.

Her: “Babe, she has such a cute ass.”

    Me: (Afraid to say anything)

    Another time–

Her (after a lovely bursleque show in Las Vegas): “I’m like, worn out. They all had such great tits.”

Those direct quotes from Jessica Valenti are worrisome. That level of vitriol from someone who is supposed to be moderate enough to be carried by mainstream newspapers indicates that the culture is permeated with this.
From a feminist standpoint, what could they achieve by complete feminine dominance if the men are completely alienated?

What exactly is your agenda? If you go around shamelessly showing your breasts in public, you ARE a feminist, because that’s what they do. Just because you say you’re not doesn’t make it so. Your actions say who you are. It’s the principle that matters, and your alleged backlash to prove them wrong only resulted in you stooping to their disgusting level.

I have no problem with a woman breastfeeding in public, because it serves a legitimate purpose, but baring your breasts for no good reason is just immoral, slutty nonsense.

Feminists are trying to free more than just the nipple. Check out http://herself.com:

“There are many people out there who think that feminism and porn are total opposites. To me, they go hand in hand. Managing my brand, being creative, sharing my sexuality with the world — these things are empowering to me. No one ever forces me to do anything I don’t want to do. If feminism is a woman’s right to choose — a woman’s right to be her own woman — who says I can’t be confident and sexy, and choose to f___ on camera?”

Feminists are going to bring about a new Sodom and Gomorrah if they have their way.

By the way, sexually tempting men with public nudity is what causes porn addiction and fornication, which is part of what is destroying the male (and female) population. You just made yourself part of the problem with that nude picture of your breasts.

In their defense of reporting Johns picture I have to say that I see what went through their minds.
His shirt is white so it blends in with the background so it is easy to not notice it and therefor assume he doesn’t have one on. Since he doesn’t have one on that we can see and it is possible for a man to be naked then he is responsible for the nudity of men as a whole, thus reporting him for nudity is the only reasonable option.
As for the tie, well that is just a phallus anyway so not only is he in the nude, now he is eye-raping women on facebook with his big blue phallus.

The above would be funny if it wasn’t so close to their actual reasoning…

    Hi Janet

Good article. I tried to comment on this on FB but FB is saying either your page doesn’t work or it’s been taken down?

Anyway, I’ve written my own blog post on the topic of #FreeTheNipple and I just wanted to ask for your permission to link this article as an example of feminist double-standards? I’ve already posted it but if you’re not happy with it I will happily take it down.

    Thanks for your time.

JB, you likely already know this so just an FYI: Tumblr is definitely friendly toward sex positive stuff. (If you intend to post more of the aforementioned items.) I will admit, having waded into the #FreeTheNipple thing, that I wondered what would happen if you posted PG-13 stuff anonymously—wouldn’t everyone be like, yay, another person supporting our hashtag?

“Feminists are going to bring about a new Sodom and Gomorrah if they have their way.”

The sins of Sodom and Gomorrah were inhospitality and lack of concern for the poor and needy. Rather than sheltering and protecting the visitors, they wanted to rape them.

I agree that there’s a definite move in feminism to be very inhospitable towards men and say “well boo fucking hoo!” in response to male suffering. This does indeed sound like a sort of modern day Sodom and Gomorrah.

But lumping JB in with feminists — I really don’t get that.

Thank God for the internet! I am a 50 year old male, who, ever since I was a little kid have been astonished at the hatred, vitriol, and bigotry levelled at men. For years I thought I was the only male on earth who felt this way and put up with the shit that was thrown at me in school, university, the work force and society in general. Now we’re even getting demeaned and degraded by the President and First “Lady” of the United States

Even as a little kid I wondered why it was perfectly socially acceptable to humiliate, laugh at, embarrass, vilify, verbally and physically abuse men and boys. If this same treatment was directed at any other group of human beings it would be classed as terrorism. Hell, I have even watched an afternoon talk show where the subject of a man being drugged, tied up, and genitally mutilated by his wife when he awoke, bound and gagged was met with applause and hysterical laughter.

Feminism is clearly a hate movement. If anyone has any idea how to get it classified as such please post! If governments, corporations, schools, colleges, the justice system and media continue to cater to these lunatics a male Holocaust my be coming in the near future. Sound crazy? Feminists operate exactly the same way now as the Nazi party did in the 1930s and 40’s. Blame one select group of human beings for all the world’s problems, dehumanize them by calling them filthy names, tell lies about all the evil they have wrought, lobby government to meet your every demand……PRESTO – it’s now perfectly acceptable to kill them. It’s going on right now. Misandry has saturated our society at every level, so much so it’s now considered normal and acceptable.

I am terrified to think what the future holds for baby boys being born today.
